Default 1995 Range Rover county drive shaft

Hi, will a discovery 1 front drive shaft fit a 1995 RR county? It's hard to find one for the RRC anybody have any good advice on where to find one or should I just rebuild the old one? Thank you

I have two '95 RRC LWB's I'm currently parting. If you want one of the front driveshafts I have PM me and I'll sort you out. The front drive shaft for a '95 RRC regardless of SWB or LWB, is longer than the driveshaft used on a DI. The reason lies in the different transfer cases these vehicles use.

The Range Rover Classic has a Borg Warner viscous coupled transfer case that is more compact that the LT230, gear driven tranfer case found in the DI. As a result, the DI driveshaft is too short to use with the Borg Warner transfer case.

Now, there have been a number of RRC's (1989-1995) that were converted to run an LT230 transfer case. The two main reasons were, first to give the driver the opportunity to manually lock the center differential and secondly, because the price for repairs and parts on a Borg Warner were much greater.

Now as long as you can confirm that your '95 still has a Borg Warner transfer case, I have the right driveshaft for you. If, in fact, somewhere along the line someone swapped in an LT 230 transfer case, I also have a DI front driveshaft that will work for you. If you are unsure of what you have, let me know and I can sort it out for you.
Cheers,
