Thanks guys... the good thing is i know at that price he will have it for a while... i just happened to drive by and see it... i wasn't even in the market but this vehicle just caught me... i am ready to come back to rovers!!

 

Just an update... This RR is still sitting for sale... I should call again but I am really into Discos....

 

I'd let this one walk man. His price is almosdt twice what it should be. $4k might be about right, I might go $4500 if everything was cherry and he delivered it in running condition.

Another thing to check - the HVAC system. Blower motors and steppers go out on these trucks with age. See if you can get heat/AC out of both sides of the climate control system (passenger and driver).

Also check track rod and drag link for excessive wear and play.

But I wouldn't bother with any of this unless that price comes way down.

 

The display for the radio is an easy fix! You just need to replace the bulbs in the radio to see the display
