First of all, Hey guys, I'm new here and saw that this place looked like a very knowledgeable source for Range Rover all around. If anything, though, I joined to see if I could get some help on my car. I have a 1999 Range Rover, and from what I hear, the Air Suspension is completely gone. The car is really low and while driving, you feel EVERY bump in the road. Without exaggerating, I could probably hit my head pretty hard about 5 times in a day. Since the Air Suspension is a COMPLEX system of the Land Rover family, I was wondering if there's any way to check what's wrong with the suspension without using the computer module. I know it seems farfetched, but it would be great if I could get some advice regarding this "little" problem. If you've had the same troubles, could you tell me what had happened to yours and what's the most common thing to get ruined? Thanks in advanced! [sm=helpout.gif]

 

You need to find a mechanic who has a lap top tipe scanner like an Auto Logic scanner, which is able to scan and find the exact problems, then you can decide on the fix.

 

just change to coil spring and you would not have to deal that issue again. note eas like to fail every 10k

 

Is the air suspension that problematic?

 

I replaced my air suspension w/coils myself after being left on road side too many times. I do not regret it. It took a long Saterday and a lot of cussing in my gravel driveway, but I highly recommend it.
