Default 2003 RANGE ROVER IS A P.O.S.

GEEZ ever since my wifes 2003 Range Rover (52K miles currently) has gone out of warranty everything under the sun is starting to happen to it. First the wiper motor goes out in a brisk snow storm, Then the damn alternator goes out, just replaced the front brakes and rotors, NOW todaythe dip headlamp light is on and the xenon headlights are not working-found out it needs a fricking 200.00 light bulb. Man I am trying to weatherthe storm here and hoping that this is the last of the MONEY pit for a while. I really do like this truck escpecially knowing it has a BMW motor but if this keeps up I'm buying the new 2007 BMW X5 4.8 screw it.....REALLYSTARTING TO ANNOY THE **** OUT OF ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Manufacturer should put out a little better product for almost 70K.

I love my truck also, but ever since I shipped my 2003 RR to Hawaii it has had problem after problem. I never had problems in the states and to top it all off the dealership holds the car for a month plus. All the money I am paying for these fixes you would think they could give it back in a timely manner. Well good luck with your truck, I am trying to convince my husband to let me keepmine but it looks like thats not working out well.
P.S. Be careful of aftermarket warranties, they are not what they are cracked up to be.

If I were you I wouldn't be getting any work done EVER at a Land Rover dealership. So overpriced it's insane , find a reputable independent shop or do the work yourself. One reason why LR gets such a bad rap is because people take there cars to the dealership. Lets say you need new bellows on the front take it to the dealership they'll replace it with the same crap that came from the factory for $145an hr. take it to an independent have them throw on Arnott Gen2 or Gen3 bags and the problem is solved for good for $70 an hr ..

I've owned my P38 4.6 for over a year and have almost 100k miles and between me and the old owner there has been under $2500 in repair work in 7 years . the biggest repair was I replaced all my air suspension with Arnott Gen III air suspension cost $1200 installed have not had an issue since. And I torcher this vehicle off - road
