Hi, I just got a bunch of valve covers replaced in my 2003 range rover...they said when they went to start it, it wouldn't turn over..This has happened to us maybe 5 times in the last 4 months...Land rover dealer (this was where we got the valve covers fixed) said they think it's the starter going out. When you turn the key and let it go for automatic start it doesn't turn on. But then you do it again and it will start...I know it's not the battery because we had it replaced and they tested it and the alternator and they were fine. Does it sound like my starter is going out? And if so is that expensive to replace? BTW- Land rover said they started it 10 times and one time it wouldn't turn over...Any opinions or help would be greatly appreciated I just don't have the money to keep putting into it, last service a few days ago with the valves was over $800

ALSO- When we took it on a 4 hour trip and then turned it off, we tried to turn it back on less than a minute later and it would not start the first try but did start the second try...(so obviously it was very hot when this happened, didn't know if this made a difference or not.)
