Using NAV and Cell phones while drving is STUPID and the NEW RR electrical systems are complicated enough to slow you down, most NRR owners dont understand how half of the gizzmos in there cars work let alone understand why they were designed that way,(cant read manuals)Leave it alone, some day you might have a close call just watching that screen and get it ?
Forget about why land Rovers got popular in the first place, ITS A GREAT OFF ROAD 4x4 ,
You canjust play with the stupid junk we all need to keep up with the Joneses. or you can start having some real fun.
LEAVE THE CAR ALONE ![:@]

It's actually good that I can unlock it becuase I have no desire to stop and input an address. Sometimes you need to input an address while you are driving...you or your passenger can do it. The reason why we can't use it is becuase of our litigation society. I know how all my gizzmos work in my car. There's a reason for that hidden screen and code.

I know perfectly well the gizmos in my car and i know the reasons for why Land Rovers are so great in the 1st place. I wouldnt have bought a defender if that wasnt the case!
Its really annoying that u cant program an address if u are above 5mph and its annoying that I cant watch a DVD on the front screen when i am in park and have the hand brake on. I want a fix for those....i dont want to watch a movie whit driving that is stupid.
Perhaps you should understand the problem before you decide to comment....

For my '06, that code does work. Very simple to do...took about 10 seconds really....

A good example of why my insurance rates are so high.

I only pay $495 for 6 months with State Farm with full coverage. When you drive expensive cars like these gas and insurance should be the least of your worries. If you think that insurance is high you should switch over to a smaller and less expensive vehicle so you don't complain about insurance rates.
