Default 2010 HSE w/passive keyless entry?

yes I've searched, but I can't get a clear answer.

I have a 2010 HSE with push-button start but the fob is required to unlock the doors, by clicking the unlock button. what I'm confused about is the driver's door handle has the signal sign image on it, shown on models with passive entry, yet it does not work. is there a fuse or something maybe not working or is that not indicative of the car being equipped with keyless, passive entry?

on that same note, if not...is the car upgradable to it?

Passive entry isn't available in the LM nor can it be fitted. That symbol you see on the handle is to let you know there is a lock cylinder behind the cover, so that you can unlock the door with the mechanical key blade should the battery go flat.
