My 2012 RRS SC subwoofer seems to vibrate quite a bit. Even at moderate volume, it vibrates at low frequencies. My old 2008 RRS SC did not do this. Anyone else have this problem?

 

find out where exactly the part is vibrating and then check the area for loose bolts and clips. a speaker not tight will vibrate at certain times.

 

Yes, I have the same problem. 2011RRSport.

I took it to the dealer. They replaced sub. Same issues. I found a song for them that it happened in even at low volumes. They swapped out the head unit and also the amp. No luck
They took the song to another RR, same issue.

The service manager "Ty" at Hoffman Estates, IL RR agreed that is sounded like crap. He told me that there was nothing he could do but that I should escalate. I escalated to RR America and after about 4 weeks, they basically said that there are not enough people complaining about this issue. But they wanted to make it right. So they sent me $500 to use at any RR Dealer.

Do the same yourself and maybe they'll get this issue fixed.

 

Subwoofer Poor configuration on this 65k preowned RR sport! After complaining about this "rattle" and horrible sound. After the @cherryhill dealership said they fixed it, I finally took it to an audio shop. A crap subwoofer stuck in ceiling of a hatch with such poor configuration. And this was an upgrade sound system I paid for with Harmon Kardon??!! RR should be embarrassed!!
