'89 Classic Headlight Washer Jets
1989 Range Rover Classic, 3.9V8.
Hi all,
I have a most annoying problem with my headlight washer jets. Originally when I bought the car, there was a problem with the relay, they ran all the time when the headlights were one. So I replaced the pump, and the relay, and now whilst the pump does not run continously, the water keeps pouring out the jets. This is with the pump now disconnected, and the relay out! I can't understand how the water gets up the pump and out down along the hose without the pump being on! If anyone has any suggestions I would be most grateful, it is somewhat annoying to have to refill it, only to have it dribble out of the jets!
I don't believe there are any valves in the system, it goes straight from the pump to the hose.
