I would look at the wiper motor first, is it getting power when activated by the switch? No power, then it could be a bad switch, power without working it has to be the wiper motor.

thanks mike. thats the way im working at just now. its a struggle getting all the bits off around the steering colume. somone that last did that put back in the wrong screws. once i can get at the switch i can test to see if the power is getting to the motor. if iut is i guess i have to take out the whole instrement cluster to get to the motor. or is there an other way? and the blower only blows the fuse on high speed. do you know anything about that? your help is really appreciated.

Just a thought ... could you have a bad resister pack (speed control unit) it's under the front cowl (air intake) behind those black grills passenger side. It might be overheating (they get really funky over time) and causing that problem as well.

thanks joe, i got the cowl off and saw the ballast resister you talk off. its very rusty. i was thinking that might have somthing to do with it. i just bought this rr in st paul. minasota. and drove it back to texas. i guess all those years in the snow and ice with lots of salt have had an efect on it.
