Default '93 Range Rover LWB purchase advice

After a brief time with a Disco II with title issues (thank god that's over) I have moved on and am considering the vehicle linked to below:

https://louisville.craigslist.org/cto/5407579841.html

My big questions are in terms of purchase price and major things to look out for. I am happy the air ride has been converted to coil overs for starters.

This will not be a daily driver but will be used a few times a week...a change of pace car with significantly more utility than my current daily driver ('01 740i)

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

You will of course want to check all the usual things. Make sure to take it for a good long test drive.

Then it's rust hunting time.

Check the hood
Check the front inner fenders under the hood for rot.
Check the mount brackets for the front mudflaps (front edge of the floors in the front)
Check the base of the a pillar at the floor
Check the seat belt outer mount points on the rear inner fender
Check the rear load floor
Check the rear crossmember where the tail gate hinges are
Check the upper and lower rear gate

Other than that they are like any other rover.

Thanks Army!

Any thoughts on the asking price?

Also, I see in your signature you have a '72 MGB, I have a '74 MGB GT. It's a sweet little ride when it feels like cooperating.

The price of good RRC's is on the rise. A good clean rust free example is of course what you want and they cost more. I would be in the $4500 to $5000 range from what i can see in the pics.

My MGB is a non-runner right now as I pulled the 4cyl and I'm most of the way through a 302 conversion. In the build thread section there is a long thread about the last few years of MGB ownership for me and details on the swap.
