Default Abs fault & traction failure

I went fishing yesterday and had to get through a good size puddle and after I came out of it the TC light came on and then I got the error message: ABS FAULT & TRACTION FAILURE! I thought okay maybe the traction control got hot and needs to cool down, but after sitting a few hours still the same error message. Now I have these christmas tree lights on in the instrument cluster that I would like to get turned off. This puddle was not very deep (by the way the Rover performed very well) and I did have the traction control run for more than 15-20 seconds? Any suggestions about where to look? The nearest dealer for me is about 2+ hours away...

Thanks

I would check my ABS sensors first. Have you hosed off the under carriage or wheel wells yet?
