Default ac problem fixed

It took some time and a process of elimination but I figured out what was wrong with my ac. It was just low on freon. I think what was happening was the outside temperature was too high and the sensors were keeping the compressor from coming on. It was cool enough in my garage early this morning and when i hit the ac button the compressor kicked on. I checked the pressure in the lines and it was reading low. The system took two cans of freon and now its cold as ice. Better than taking it to someone and have them charge me $200.00 to plug in and diagnois the problems inside the a/c control unit.

I don't know where you live but when it gets hot outside, you may want to recheck your pressures with your new guage. hopefully you saved a can to leave installed on the guage/valve.(it may leak back)
You want to insure you didn't overcharge your system - definately hard on the compressor.
