Default Advice?

Hey guys I am new to the forum. The reason I joined is because I am in the process of buying a Range Rover for my wife. I had a few questions maybe you guys could answer. I am looking a few low mileage 2004's. I will be buying the extended warranty. Is there any reason I should stay away from 04's? Are there any issues I should be aware of our questions I should ask in reference to maintance or recall work? ANy help would be appreciated. This is my first dealing with Range Rovers. I apologize for the ignorance. I am familiar with BMW's & Mercedes as I own a M5 and E55 but first in terms of Range

Default RE: Advice?

Allother issues asside, if Sirius satellite radio, the ability to play MP3 discs and good DVD based GPS navigation are at all important to your wife you might want to consider an '05 or '06. You can upgrade the '04 with the later model components and it will cost you about $3k to do it yourself or about $4k - $5kto have the dealer do it. Also no auto headlight function in '04. On the positive side you will get the awsome BMW drive train, (not sure exactly when they switched to the Ford / Jag drive train - some point in '05 I believe). Just kind of comes down to what's most important you.
