Default Air spring conversion in reverse

Ok I bought a 2000 p38 and former owner had converted to coil springs. Anyway it appears he didn't butcher it to much so I'm thinking of converting back. Hoping I have or can find all the parts and not spend a large huge huge amount of money. Anyway do I need to convert all at the same time or is it possible to do rear then front? Anyone converted one back? Anything I should look into or check before I start?

' Anything I should look into or check before I start? ' Yes have your head examined by a professional!

RE: "possible to do rear then front?" NOT possible. This systems parts ALL work together. And that's when they work. I've had quite a few of these rigs and RRCs> imho the air suspension is great in theory, but a PITA in practice.
I'm not telling you not to convert back, but be ready to spend a lot of money(depending what parts are missing or inop) and a lot of time. And remember to have a buddy that works at a shop or the dealer so they can reset the faults and get you off the bumpstops w testbook.

Great advice thanks so much. Should I look into some good shocks maybe even air shocks or to improve ride? It appears to have stock shocks. Also front sets higher than rear not sure if rear springs are sagging or what I need to do to correct stance? I think it would look better even or higher in rear.

Air shock...not needed. Read; waste of $$$. Upgrade the shocks and springs.

Give Justin a call at Lucky8. If not a kit like this, he will be able to sell you what you need. This is the ebay link, but L8 is a shop.

i would vote to reinstall it, start by taking an inventory of what you have. is the compressor and metering block still there, they can be rebuilt very cheaply with parts available online both for under $100.00 are all your height sensor still in place and wired, then it may have been some cheap sob that did not want to pay for bags.
if you find soe with a hawkeye or simular devise they should be able to cheap all the input out puts and test the system before you go too far.
