Hi all, I'm new to this forum, I have a 96 Range Rover I have taken to a local shop to have the break pads replace, after the pads were replaced, I've noticed an issue with the air suspension, it refuses to go up, actually the rear goes up, but the Front still remains down. I've heard of issues that only a qualify mechanic should do brake on the Range over, if any of you have experience such dilema after a break job and know how to fix it, please share your input. First, take it back and tell them they made more issues than they fixed. If they are reputable, then they should help you out.

Since it is an AIR suspension, you can think about the scenarios:
either are not getting air to the bags or power to the compressor or the compressor is damaged or there is a massive leak. Since it seems like it has heppened directly afetr service, it doesn't seem like it is a wearing down issue. Maybe they unplugged/disconnected something to get to the brakes?

First you need to have a qualified shop work on this truck. To diagnose the air suspension system you must have a Testbook or Autologic tool. Which only dealers and Some independant shops invest in. Most likely they have either disconnect something or worse, they have cut or torn one fo the bags...

It is this type of failure that is seeing so many people over here in the UK changing the air bag system back to a coil sprung system..
