Billabong, depending on the security of your location here's a tip to help identify where your leak (if you have one) might be. With the suspension fully inflated, leave the rear hatch or driver door unlatched overnight. This will fool the EAS computer which will not then be able to adjust the suspension to level height. Thus if you have a leak, only that area of the car will lose air and it should be more readily apparant to you.

Thanks RR, I guess I'm going to have to do that tonight. I cant find that leak anywhere, plus after a few days of being risen to the proper height, I went out this morning and the rear was almost completely back down, and to top it off, it wouldn't start. I got it jumped it off finally. I think if it was the actual battery being dead, wouldn't all the radio stations be reset. plus when I put the ignition in and turn it one tick, all the lights do come on, so I'm starting to wonder if its the alternator.

Any thoughts?

If you are not in a safe place you can also unplug the EAS Brain under the drivers seat and lock the doors, that way the system will not do anything and then you can see if a corner is leaning compared to the others.

I just took the battery up to Advanced auto and they ran a test on it. Its as dead as doornail. When it rains, it pours. The didn't even have a battery that would match it, except for a tractor battery.

i find it easiest to disconnect the driver in the compressor box if you want to check to see what corner the leaks on

 

Sorry to sound like an idiot, but where is the driver exactly in the compressor box?

 

I am assuming that he is refferring to just disconnecting the compressor from the system, that way it does not fill the bags.

 

no, the car will never raise itself to level out when the key is off, itll only lower it... but the big, 18 or so wire connector in the front of the compressor box is for the driver and valve block, if you disconnect that, it wont try to level itself at all
