Another abs/tc?

Another abs/tc?
Trust me I searched and searched(all forum sites) which led me to do the repair work that I did. Lights came on(abs/tc,engine) so I went to indy to have them read. Said that the wheel sensors was not communicating with each other. List of possibilties. Tried clearing code but they would'nt. Figured I run through everything. Changed brake pads, rotors, brake fluid, and the accumulator. Lights are still on. Now the brakes seems to be worst. When I slightly press brake the truck jerks like I slammed them on. Then I would go to press them again it takes forever to stop truck. So I rebleed the brakes through calipers. Am I supposed to bleed through the main bleeders under the brake fluid res? Im gonna go back and get the codes read again. Thanks guys for any input?advice.

Do you feel pulsating? Like the ABS kicks on when you push the brakes? If so, you have a wheel sensor issue, like you previously discovered. It might be a short somewhere. You can try reseting it by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. If you choose to do that, leave your key in the iginition with the door OPEN.

Thanks Scott just tried that nothing. It strange just the slightest touch of the brake pedal and it feels like the abs kicks in. It does for 2 brake pumps on the 3rd brake pump almost no brake pressure. Think I not doing the bleeding right. Also tried pulling the abs/ecu from the dash and it does the same thing with lights also on. What a learning experience lol....

the bleed procedure has to be followed EXACTLY like it says in the manual. Like LRScott said, the abs kicking in is most likely an issue with the wheel speed sensor. (it thinks one of the wheels is locking up) Make sure the speed sensors are seated in all the way. Mine did the abs thing when one of my rear wheel bearing seals was leaking badly. Make sure you are using the correct brake fluid.

Had a similar issue. Right front sensor was loose and slid out a bit. Accumulator was shot as well. If the pump starts every time you brake, it means it can no longer store any pressure. You should be able to get at least four stops out of the charge without the pump starting. If not, get a new accumulator or the pump will run steady and you'll lose the TC and ABS when either one is real busy.
