Question Bought a RRC LWB and o oh radio issues

Hello all,

Got another thread running here about other issues I am having with this rover but this one seems to deserve its own thread. The car had an non functioning aftermarket stereo installed which I decided to replace today. Getting into it the power (constant and ignition) were no issue but then I got to the speakers and could not find half the wires. The speakers themselves just have red and black wires so I dont know where to look. Also found a couple multi pin plugs in there. What is the best way to tackle this situation?

Fred

I'm not very familiar with the stereo system on the RRC's, but from past experiences I've had with used vehicles, if the wiring has been cut or hacked in any kind of way, your best bet is to route new wires to the speakers. And the biggest benefit of doing that is that it'll save you a lot of time and headaches down the road if you do the wiring right the first time

to test a speakers wire get a small 9 volt battery and touch the speaker leads to the battery .
if you have a connection to the speaker you will hear static and then can ID what speaker wire goes where
