Question Cruise control 2001 P38

I searched but did not see what I need. I have a problem with the activation button on the cruise Control on the Fascia, NO LIGHT showing power. It worked once after the car was taken out o storage after two years. I think it thought it worked long enough and went back to sleep.
I HAD a link to wiring information but can not find it, new computer.
Any help would be great.

It is the switch on the fascia. Can I just spray alky on it with power off to clean it ? If not HOW does it come out or service, PRY?

I prefer to use a steamer with a little EoH in there, and use a terry cloth as my buffer. Push the button a ton, and take your time. My fiancé spilt a coke in my m3 and that's what we did, and it came out. Patience is your friend, or drive down to Nashville, and I'll do it for you.
