I just bought a 98 4.6 HSE. When I try to engage the cruise control it doesn't work. I was wondering if anybody else have came across the same problem. Also, where is a good vendor to procure chrome brush gards?

 

You should start checking all the vaccum lines leading to and away from the cruise control unit, usually it is just a cracked hose that will disable them.
For the brush guard I would suggest some one like Atlantic British on the web. Ar you sure you want chrome, very unusual and hard to keep from rusting.
