P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1)
P0174 System Too Lean (Bank 2)
P0134 O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0440 Evaporative Emission Control System Malfunction
P0733 Gear 3 Incorrect Ratio P0734 Gear 4 Incorrect Ratio


This is my diagnostic report does anyone know what these codes mean. I know my head gasket cover has a oil leak and i am going to get that fixed in a few weeks when it is a little warmer. they said it is something with my check engine light it doesn't come on when you start the car. any advice would be helpful and thanks, oh it is a 1999 hse 4.6 rr

How many miles on your truck?
the 174, 171 and 733 are normal for when a MAF is failing, this needs to be replaced first. Then depending on your mileage, 02 sensors are probably next and lastly the 440 code may take a mechanic.
If you want to save some money, doing some of this your self, e-mail me your tele number and a good time for me to call you, I can wlk you thru where to buy the parts for less and directions for rep[lacing them.

Ew...Evap codes are a PITA.

Agreed on the MAF, and Agreed on the mechanic route for EVAP. Unless you like jigsaw puzzles that may never actually finish..

Where did you get your diagnostic report??? I have been to all the car part stores and no codes come up for my "Check Engine" light.......
