Default Fuel Filter Location

Hi does anyone know where is the location of the fuel filter on a 99 RR 4.0 SE? i dont know where to start?

nside the r/hand rail,like behind the front door but on the underside, being held by a metal strap.

The fuel filter is different on BOSCH and GEMS. On the BOSCH ones, the fuel filter is an internal part of the fuel pump and cannot be replaced, or it can, but you have to take the pump out... I can't remember for sure. From 1999 to 2002 are the BOSCH ones. Except they made GEMS 1/2 way through year 1999. So thats why I ask.
