Default Had an LR2 as a loaner and.......

I recently had my RR serviced this past week and was given a LR2 to drive for the day. I must say that the Nav system is MUCH nicer in this vehicle and the Bluetooth is far advance when compared to the RR. I havea 2007 RR and was surprised how much more technically advanced the LR2 was compared to the RR. The Bluetooth in the Rover is antiquated, the LR2 was able to read my phonebook and display names of callers and callee's-very nice. Similiar to the Bluetooth in my 7 series BMW.

I didn't get the nav in my LR2 loaner but I did get it in the last LR3 loaner that I was given. However, if I recall correctly, the LR3 has the same nav as the Range. What made the nav better in the LR2?

I agree that the bluetooth in the Range Rover is terrible. I once used it to speak to a business contact and he commented on how he could barely hear me. Haven't used it since.

Off Topic:I didn't know you had a 7 (since you don't list your cars )! A very nice car indeed! If I were ever to trade my RR it would be for the next gen7. What year is your 7?

The Nav in the LR2 is just very contemporary. It is very colorful and moves in and out of screens like a power point presentation. It is very "cool" (to coin a phrase).

The bluetooth was awesome, I loved the fact that it could read my phonebook and list names of callers,etc..just like my BMW 7.

I have a 2003 745LI. I have never enjoyed a sedan as much as I have this car. It is a joy to drive (it is my daily driver) everyday. I had some gremlin issues when I first bought it over 2 years ago, but recently it has been terrific. This car is 4 years older than my RR and is technically much farther advanced. A bit of a disappointment about the RR. I am sure that will change when they restyle the RR.

By the way, my favorite coupe I have owned is the Acura NSX. Now, you want to talk about awesome!
