Default Looking to buy a service loaner.

I plan on buying an LR3 in the very new future. I have had my eye on a few 07 LR3s "loaners" the local LR dealer has. The sell them fairly quickly and normally have 2 or 3 at any given time.
They never have more than 5,000 miles. The are spotless inside and out. Great tread on all 4 tires. They appear to be well cared for. They have been selling the 07 SE's for 39k and the HSE's for 43k.
Good idea? Bad idea?
I work in the auto insurance claims world and can spot paint/body/frame work, so I am not concerned with that side of things. My concern would be with how people drove them....did they beat them?

Not a bad way to go, consider buying an extended warranty from Rover prior to it going out of warranty.
I live in Denver and have been watching these vehicles for the last couple of year, they are very capable on and off the road.

I think most of the people don't abuse service loaners and treat them normally. and even less abuse LR3s, so I don't think it's an issue esp. with low mileage. Once I was givena baby-Jag (X-type) and trim pieces were falling off, but it had>40k miles on the odo and has been around for a while, I guess.

They carry the same warranty and the price is right. I just leased an 06 service loaner for 36months. $1400 down and $474 month

Coming off a 2 year lease on a service loaner and have had no problems - other than a brake/rotor replacement at 24k miles (should have gone 3rd part since LR charged me $1200 - stupid, stupid, stupid) and decided to get rid of the stock tires (had 27K highway miles) with some Toyos (Love 'em). Had another 5k left on the stock tire but figure i'd like some traction this winter. Will probably buy out the vehicle when the lease is over (note: I wonder if LR would accept the Toyos if I were to return the lease vehicle - anyone had tires rejected on a lease return?). So no problem recommending a service loaner. (Heard 1 out of 6 LR3 is a lemon. I guess I am in the lucky 5... so far... still on warranty thought ;-)
