Help With Codes, Plugs/Wires or O2 Sensors?

Hey Guys,
I purchased a 1998 Range Rover 4.0 SE in February. Supposedly the dealer tuned it and did a bunch of work before I bought it but I am beginning to wonder.
I got the Check Engine light on Friday and ran the codes. It popped up with the following:
P0300
P0308
P1316
From what I'm seeing here, it looks like it could be plugs and wires, or O2 sensors.
Does anyone have a recommendation on tracking down the source? How about ideas on a plug brand? I've heard that anything but factory style plugs will jack it up. What are your thoughts? How about wires?
Thanks guys!
On a side note, how rapidly do I need to get this done? If I drive it this week, am I going to roast something important?

Have you visually inspected the O2 sensors yet? I ask because I had the exact same problem a while back and it turned out that the O2 sensors wiring got torn to shreds by the drive shaft. There probably wont be damage from using the vehicle but.. there is the potential for damage to the catalytic converter. I would start with testing 02 sensors and MAF. Good luck!

Ldivine, sage advice as always. I'll get under her once she cools down and have a look at the O2 sensors. I hope its not the MAF, I hear that they're a little spendy.
Do you know off hand where the sensors are located, I know there are 2 on the manifold, where are the others?
Thanks!

There are two O2Sensors just before the catalytic converter and two just after. The ones before (if I recall correctly) are very visible while the other two are not very far away but are tucked up more in towards the chassis. I may have the location switched around but once your under the first two are hard to miss and then you can just look up and just prior to (or after- whatever it turns out to be) the catalytic converter.
Good idea waiting for it to cool down. The two sensors that tucked up are impossible to get to if the catalytic converter and exhaust pipes haven't cooled down =/

Time to point you in the right direction, it is not the 02's, even though they should be replaced because of your mileage, you have no 02 fault codes. What you have are 3 misfire related codes, so check and see if you still have the factory gray plug wires and pull #8 plug, rear passenger, and see if it is black, smells of gas or coolant or cracked, also see if the dealer real replaced the plugs, a lot of the time they don't and if they did and you have factory wire he may have damaged a wire.
By the way, these are not MAF generated fault codes so leave it alone.
