Ignition Sounds/Beeping when starting
Hi, when I first bought my 89 Rang Rover Classic it made a kind of beeping sound when I would start it up but after I pressed one of the buttons under the steering column it hasn't been there I didn't know if anyone knew how to turn it back on?
Was it a loud beep (in engine bay ) or inside the cabin beep?
what did it signify? - door open?, Lights on?,unplugged front seat belts while moving?
do you have any aftermarket fixtures in the car? alarm / immobiliser, telephone etc...
I'm sure you have tried repressing the under wheel button(s) - could try it again in a different order
( eg - withIGN ACC on )
why would you want a "beep" back anyway?!!- it sounds annoying & you may have done a great thing disabling it!

Rovers don't and don't have a switch under the dash, your truck has an after market alarm system that if you were smart you would get rid of before it disables the ignition some time.
