Hello forum neighbors! I usually don't veer into this lane of the forum but here I am with a few questions for you RRC owners.

I'm looking at aquiring a 94 and I'm looking for your opinions of that particular year and the engine / driveline. Also any particular quirks with that model. Not sure of the miles or service history yet but that will come.

Much of the Range Rover will be just like your Disco. The only real difference is going to be some electrical pieces for the suspension and of course the interior. I have not had one so I am not sure on the reliability but since it is last year of the model I am sure most of the bugs were worked out. But of course it is a Land Rover so there is always the weird stuff now and then.

 

You didn't use your blinker and cut a bunch of us off!

My boss had a 94 classic, beat the snot out of the poor thing too. It was a good little rig. Had its quirks, but they weren't too bad. He had to rebuild the transmission at 100k, but that was his fault for not replacing the fluid. Most of the quirks are with the creature comforts, like the door locks, seat adjuster switch, window buttons etc. I really like the classics, I just don't have room in my garage for one. One day I'll probably get an old 95 and do a full restore on it. For now, I'll just drive my P38. It should be a good purchase w/e you decide. Good luck!

Also, found out it has 144k on the clock so good and low for the year.
