Looking to buy P38 RR with EAS question
Hi Everyone,
Currently own a Series II Disco, have owned a couple Series Is and an RR Classic in the past. I came across a 1996 P38 RR for cheap and am considering buying it. The vehicle was as advertised except for the EAS system. The Rover runs level at the normal height and the ride is fine but I cant seem to raise or lower it at all and none of the lights on the switch light up. The EAS manual switch seems to work as far as the light and the message on the dash is concerned. Any comments? As I typed this I also realized the may have been converted to coils which I did not check when I looked at the vehicle.
Thank you all
Fred

WEll, today the guy at the shop put on my right rear new airbag, and guess what, well he thinks its the valve block, so he gave me the choice to have the coil springs put on, he said tomorrow he would look up prices.
What is the best coil conversion kit to get? or second best?
Thanks.
Gary

I looked around and around and decided to buy these from strutmasters, he is going to install them for about $400.00, so it beats the factory option which range rover said including install and parts for $1780. plus tax. The two inch lift I hope looks good.

I will post back end of next week and tell you how it went.
