Looking at a High Mileage '06 or '07 Range Rover sport
Hello, I was looking at getting a high mileage '06 or '07 range rover sport with around 100 to 150 thousand miles on it. I was wondering how reliable these vehicles were and also what issues were common with these vehicles and also if more issues began to come up with higher mileage. Also about how much would it cost to take care of these and what lifespan would I be able to expect out of the vehicle. Thanks
I'm guessing that you want a high mileage RRS for a lower price point. One thing I've learned is even if you can turn your own wrench you need to be prepared for a $1000-$2000 repair bills each year. If you're not prepare for that a RR may not be the ride for you
RRS and LR3 share the same underpinnings, correct? What are the major issues commonly seen in the 06/07 RRS ? My reading points to the airbags and the lower control arm bushings. Each seem to be a reasonable task for DIY type. I suppose having a programmer on hand is beneficial too. What else is shared issue on this platform?
