Hey everyone, right now I have a 2004 Jaguar XJR that I have had for quite a few years now and love very much. However, she is starting to get up in miles and I am looking for something different (this is the longest I have ever kept a car haha) From what I can I can gather from the interwebs, the 06+ Rovers are the most reliable, once they got the Jaguar bits in them. Having now a 4.2L SC engine w/ 6sp auto, I think I am fairly used to the drivetrain bits. I am going to go look at a 2006 RR SC with the same bits my car has now, what should I look out for aside from sagging air bags and all the obvious things?

I also have a 98 Disco that's just a blast to drive, I am thinking that a RR SC is going to be the best of both worlds that I have right now. I am content not having Terrain Response and the updated interior of the 07+. the 06 SC has about 50k miles and a mostly clean carfax. 1 accident reported with a replaced bumper, no frame damage, the Jaguar im trading in has the same thing from an idiot in a parkinglot so minor accidents don't scare me off. How are these trucks? What should I look for, what should I avoid? I can do work on my own, I fixed the collapsed air suspension on the XJR, and basic repairs such as power steering and what have you. I love the AJ34S engine, it's smooth and is really just dreamy.
