Question low beam light full size Range ROver 2005

  • I have a full size range rover 2005, and I took my car in for service because my lcd was telling me "check low beam light" I was told there is a service bulletin out for this but don't know what it's for. Half the time my left headlight will work without problems and the other half, it's out and I get this error message. I had them replace my module but it's still not working. I don't think it would be the HID because it works part of the time. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

Thanks Disco Mike. They aren't that friendly at my land rover. I don't suspect that they will give that to me without a fight. I've had problems with them over the years, everything from them driving my car to pick up parts for someone else 30 something miles away, 60 round trip to not covering my module, I had to ask twice for them to replace it. I'm under extended warranty, which makes me wonder what I need. They told me I needed brakes in february and it's june aand I still have yet to see the brake indicator lights come on! They also scratched up my car when it was in this week. They fixed one of 4 problems with the car I've had.

I just got the same message this evening. I love my RR dealership it is just over an hour away ugh... I'm assuming it needs replacement however I wonder if this is something I can do myself or dealship needs to do. It's my 2005 and no the warranty is no longer valid which is fine with me but... I do not want to be driving at night with this issue.

I also encountered this problem a year ago on my toyota truck. I went to a toyota parts store for it to be replaced and it worked out well. I am not having signals pertaining to my beam lights on my lcd anymore. So the problem could either be on the installation of your new head light or your lcd is the one having problems.

YIKES, If someone so much as breathed on my rover wrong I would smack them with a wrench. Some of the service people at my dealership will park the rovers into a bush and scratch the hell out of them. Even brand new 09s, makes me furious, that is why I never take mine there. I would report them to the BBB if I were you.
