Default Mis-aligned bonnet on brand new range rover

I bought a brand new range rover less than a week ago. Its a supercharged LWB. I noticed a couple days ago that the hood on the drivers side was not sitting flush so much so that I could easily slide 3-4 fingers underneath it. The hood sits flush on the passenger side above the headlights. Took it to the service department where I bought the car. They want to take it to the body shop to get it fixed, aligned. Has anyone come across this before? Its not just the alignment but I feel that the bonnet itself is bigger than the engine compartment below that it is protruding almost half an inch outside the edge of the body. I have escalated it to the blokes at the corp but does anyone have any advice or opinion on what the issue might be other than just horrible product quality and lack of rigorous quality controls when the vehicle leaves the factory. Happy to include pics if someone knowledgeable wants to look at them?

Got a reply from Pianca Vazquez. She wants to have it inspected at the body shop. Will keep you posted on how it goes!
