Default MKIII 4.6L origin

Hey, I was curious if anyone knows where the MKIII motor(4.6L) came from, ford? I am aware that the newer models are Jaguar derived.
if it is ford, would it be the mustang GT motor?
thanks for your help.

Default RE: MKIII 4.6L origin

Whats a MKIII 4.6 ? never knew we had such an animal ? did we miss something here ?

All the New Range Rover cars use Jag motors 4.4 and a smaller version with the supercharger.
