Default Navigation Computer Replacement PN LR039293

Help! My radio started going crazy a couple weeks ago (fading out and switching between satellite/aux/etc) and after bringing it into the dealership they determined there is something going on inside the nav computer. Rather than fix the internal item they want to replace the entire computer at a price of about $6,000!

It seems to be there are a couple alternatives:

1. get a used navigation computer. they still seem to run over $3000

2. find a company who specializes in trouble shooting the actual component that has failed within the computer itself and have that repaired.

#2 seems to be much more reasonable and within our budget ;-)

Anyone out there know of a troubleshooting shop that i could have the computer removed and sent to for diagnosis? OR

Anyone have a used navigation computer out there that they would sell reasonable? Part number LR039293

I can send a video file of what the unit is actually doing if that helps all you troubleshooters out there. if you email me with your contact information i can exchange and email or send to dropbox.

Thank you very much! I hope someone out there is able to help or direct us.

Mark

The NAV "display" isn't the same as the NAV Computer.

Based on the part number you have, you are looking for the display.

I would contact fastoem.com and see if they can help.
