My hubby just bought me a new 08 Range Rover Supercherged for my birthday. He traded in my 05 Lexus LX and told me that this is an upgrade from Lexus. It seems too colplicated for me and I was so use to my Lexus truck that my kids I and loved. This car seems veryupscaleto bea comforable kid freindly car. I have two issues with my car.

1. I can't play the DVD in the front seat when it is in park. I can't see what or where the movie is when my kids are watching it. I press the button for full screen and it is blank. I have had a Lexus LX, Merceded M-Class, Escalade, and navigator and all of them will play when I put the car in park. this one is just black. Is ther something wrong with my system or am I pressing the wrong buttons?

2. My navigaation does not seem to give my list options when I am looking at a certain catagory. For example when I am looking for a resteraunt near where I am I press resteraunt and then the type and nothing happens. It wan'ts me to punch in a name which I don't know because I want to see my eating options. [&:]. All of my other navi systems give my a list of options for every catergory in the area that I am. What am I not doing right to see my option list?

You need to go back to the selling dealer, see the sales manager and let him know you need many questions answered, he will take good care of you.

 

I agree, head back to the dealer. I had a similar problem, indlucing no audio in the cab while playing dvd (work in headphones), there was a disconnected digital cable.

 

Based on my experience so far with my 08 RR SC I would get the Lexus back.

 

well as far as your screen in the front is concerned it is not available for you to view for safety reasons. 08 and 07 are disabled and for your issue with the nav its very simple hold the voice command and say navigation food, or fastfood, or restaurant and it will display all available food locations and type of food. it has it in your owners manual and also on a seperate book for your navigation.
