ok so i think i made the HUGE mistake of buying a new handset from ebay..

I was wondering if anybody knew how to get this thing cut and programed?

do you have to take it to a dealership? i payed 140 for it... soo i can either return it or find a way to get it working with my car?

i just need some advice! thanks guys

Did you get the number for the remote so you can program it? Yes you need to go to a dealer and if you have a second remote, make sure you have it with you cause they will need to be reentered into the system together.

you made a mistake. the keys for that car are cut to vin, dealers cannot cut them, on top of that, they cannot be programed. your BeCM controlls it all and is stored with all the possible codes that that car's keys can have, ie your key codes are not learnt, but already known and vin coded. return it if you can, if not, youre out the money.
