I would stay away from theses tires if you plan any off roading. The are soft with no real sidewall protection. I've gone through two of them on three 4wd trips. Rocks just seem to chew them up. They are great highway tires and I would think they would do well in deep snow, but if your going on any decent trail make sure you bring a jack and a spare.

Maybe I drive differently than you do. I owned a set for 3 years on my Jeep and was very happy with them. I will admit they do not have the stroingest sidewall out there but it the job for me. I guess though that the Jeep weighed a lot less and so that may have had an impact.

They are a great AT tire though for road and general off roading.

I've got an 09 HST with 20 inch wheels Nitto makes a trail tire but not in a size that won't rub. There just too soft and have on sidewall protection. I bent a wheel coming down a steep grade really slow and it destroyed the wheel. I had to replace another tire because the rocks chewed up the side wall.

The dealer tells me that I can't go down to 19 inch wheels because they won't fit over the oversized Barabus brakes. I'm hoping BFG or Wrangler will make a dedicated off road tire with reenforced side walls to take on the Colorado rocks by next spring. With a lot of Luxury SUV"s and the RRSS 2010 going to 20 inch tires I imagine they will.
