And low and behold, a puddle forming under my vehicle..It's antifreeze...I knew the water pump seal was starting to go...but man did it ever go..Freaked out about having to drive to work now.. Got a new Water Pump and Gasket ordered from Utah..Think i should drive it 22 miles round trip to work...??

Heck no, I wouldn't. I was talking to that tech that rode with you and then me during the dealer event. I told him about my temp gauge malfunction, and he told me to be extremely careful, they are hyper sensitive to heat because of the sleeves. And that is the last thing you need. Unless you really want an excuse to get a diesel engine . I suppose you could use some temporary sealant on it, but you are still running a risk.

The job didn't look too bad when I had my fan clutch off. It will probably take a few hours though.

Okay, so i get an aftermarket water pump from Utah, and am about to get ready to install it, when my serpentine belt rips in half..Sooo...I drive my wife's Freelander to Boise LR and get a new serp belt. course non of the auto parts stores carry them, and i went to everybody...5 day out wait on that..screw it paying the 60 bucks at LR. So i get back to the house and start the disassembly process per the RAVE. Get to the Viscous Fan....Stuck..No tools I have will take that damn thing off..So i had to call the wrecker to come and flatbed it to LR. Thank God for Emergency roadside insurance!! So I set all the parts in the front seat and Call the service guys and "everything is going to be okay" They tell me...Well while at that, i told them to go ahead and replace the Front crankshaft oil seal..No Prob...So what was going to be a 175 dollar job turns into 516 dollars real quick..can't wait to pick it up tomorrow...they said she purrs like a kitten now...I guess the moral of the story is,,,buy the right tools or give it to the service guys..

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!!!

$560 ! Ouch, that sucks. I've taken off the fan clutch on mine, I used pipe plyers and a rubber mallet. Its a tricky little thing to take off, took me almost an hour. I'm surprised it was that much more to replace the seal... Oh, and it better pur like a kitten lol.
