Default P-38 drive shaft

has anyone replaced their front shaft on a p-38, mine eats u-joints once a year.
i'm assuming something is wrong with one of the yolks; they were junk when i bought it also.
any suggestions for a replacement?

Nothing at Lucky8? They have that P38 that they have been beating the crap out of. I'm sure they have done something for the shafts.
