P38 purchasing advise

Hi,
Can someone help me decide what year P38 to buy? Is there certain years that are more reliable than others? Engines? Ect.....I know different companies owned Land Rover during the P38 years.

I prefer the P38 with Bosch fuel injection, and no secondary air injection, so that would be 1999. Body systems for the most part are similar for all years, and susceptible to the same issues for all years..
How much are you planning to spend for a nice one?

Whatever year you buy, plan on spending an hours labor at a good Rover shop and have a pre-purchase inspection done so you know what you are buying.
What are you planning to use the P38 for?
