Hello
First post so bare with me on this, have got a range rover 2.5 dse (bmw diesel) starts ok when cold no problem at all, but when hot as you know glow plugs dont come on and turns over for what seems like an eternity before it will start any ideas problem no2, once engine is running iif you just flick the throttle when the revs come back down the diesel injector light onn the dash appears then dissapears again & sometimes the throttle just doesnt respond at all for a few seconds

It could be the engine coolant temp sensor which is defective. Located on the side near rear part of the cylinder head driver side. Try pulling out the connector and start your engine. If it does then thats the culprit. But from my experience your aircon will not work when the connector is disconnected.
