When reading reviews of the Range Rover I always find it interesting that the Range Rover holds the title of the best all around luxury SUV but also is legendary for poor reliability (among the worst).

Granted I haven't had many problems with my '07 (21k) but I am sure they are coming.

It is just interesting to see such opposite reputations for the same vehicle.

 

I find the main problem with Rovers to be the inconsistency in build quality. Some run forever with few to no problems and others are plagued by any and every problem imaginable.

It is kinda funny that it still wins best luxury SUV despite there always being comments on the poor build quality but great abilities. I think the heritage and sure prowess of the vehicle are the factors still keep it at the top.

 

Luxury1,..you make good points. I also have a 2007 RR and I have read and heard that the 2007's have had better, if not some of the best reliability of the RR's. I hope this is true for both of us. Mine also has 21k miles. What color is yours? Mine is black/black

 

We have the same car with the same miles!!! Black is so hard to keep clean but I wouldn't be as happy with any other color
