Hi,

I've been looking to buy a Land Rover for some time now("the best 4x4xfar"), and have been doing alot of research on the Land Rover Discovery II SE7's (00-03) and the Range Rover HSE's (00-02). I'm located in Alberta Canada (plenty of excellent trails) - I'm a fan of off roading and camping etc.. so the vehicle will definately be getting used off road. Of all the reviews I've read so far no one seems to compare how these two vehicles stack up against each other (off road abilities). I figured this would be a good place to get some insight on this, any input I receive is greatly appreciated!

the disco is the vehicle that land rover put out there on the trails to show the best of what they can do. I have a disco. for me it is the best4x4byfar. one way to get an idea for yourself is to go to a dealer and take each on their little off road course, and see which one suits you the best. hope it helps. gotta love a rover. duboff
