Sure, no problem. I am glad to help. Good Luck with that. Just FYI, it appears that the RR sports are holding their values better than the RR. Something to think about.

Hey Luxury, didn't you have a c4s? The reason I ask is because I noticed your vehicles listed now say 08 Carrera

Yep, it is C4S, I just took off the specific model info in all of my cars, (C4S, HSE, 330, 460) to make it cleaner.

Luxury1, I was reading this thread again tonight and realized that I may not of really answered one of your questions well.

You asked about how to trust that an auction vehicle is in good shape or not and if it would need repairs.

Most car manufactures will have their own auctions that only their franchise dealers can buy from. For instance, Land Rover will host a Land Rover only auction and only the Land Rover dealers can participate. Most of these are online now. These manufacturers have these cars pre-rated on condition and are required to disclose any problems that they have or paint work, etc.

These auctions are usually very reputable and where you will find the best cars/trucks.
Hopefully this is where your next car,if from an auction, will come from. Really....the best used cars are usually from a trade in from an original owner.

Franchise dealers have an obligation, or they should, to fully inspect and fix any used car/truck they put on the lot. You would think that Land Rover being a reputable company would take pride in this. I believe they do.

I hope this helps a bit.

Gio34, a 2008 RR sport with 15k miles will wholesale somewhere around $38k.

whiterange, your 2003 RR with 65k miles will wholesale around $13k.

These values are assuming there is no paintwork, need for significant repairs or bad tires.

If there has been paintwork, generally discount the value around 10%.
