Hi im new to this and i have a 1996 range rover dt auto lined up to buy. Just before i do, could anyone tell me a rough figure of what im likely to spend on fuel each year doing about 2000-5000miles? Or even just a mpg figure would be very helpful. iv done a good bit if research into this and have found everythign except a solid mpg figure (the majority of the places i checked gave me very different figures). would about 25-30 mpg stretching to 35, be about right?

 

Welcome to Rovers. Most of us over here cannot het the diesel so we will not know real world numbers. I would just go off of what you have found and do all the normal maintenance work and you will get the best mileage.
