Ok here is the off the wall answer from experience over the last 7 days. I bought (3) P38 ll 2001 all have 154 to 158,000 miles, all where driven home I found them on Craigslist, yes I know pig in a poke, but one even just had a rebuild of the engine. got ALL of them for a total investment of $9,500.00 not to bad. so they are out there.
I own an ULTRAGAUGE that cost $79.95 and I hooked it up to each and ran a test drive on each looking for error codes and running temp. CHEAP way to find the good ones.
SO far SO good.
