Default Restoring an 87 Range Rover.

Hey All,
I'm new to the forum and definetily need some guidance. I'm getting an 87 LR/RR and need to find the least expensive ac compressor and heater core. Also, I'm thinking about putting: cold air intake, headers, high performance cat and muffler. Will running a true dual system make enough difference in performance to justify doubling the price? How hard is it to change the 3:56 gear ratio, because this thing is on;y for city driving? Lastly, will the seats from a 95 LR/RR fit in my 87 or, for that matter can I use any of the later model parts. I greatly appreciate y'alls' consideration in these matters and look forward to joining the club.

Thankfully,
Carter

I believe the seats from any classic are interchangeable. However, not all parts on classics on interchangeable and you'll need to do some research depending on what parts you need. There are some great sites like Atlantic British and Rovers North you might want to look at.

Best of Luck... an '87 is quite a find!
