The ride is better on air, the reliability is better on coils.

Well it’s been a long time looking but I think I’ve found a decent candidate. A trade in with full service history, American car with no rust, but the air suspension has failed. 1500.00 or best offer.
Would d2 coils fit or would I need a specific kit? It’s about 3&1/2 hours away, so before I go I’m just trying to figure out options. I’ll borrow a coolant system pressure gauge with me to check for leaks and gaskets. I’ve read about the door lock craziness. Lol.
I thought I read about a way to just directly actuate the air pump to get it to raise, if it’s possible. Need to get it up on the trailer if I take it. Could anyone direct me on what I should bring to do so or where to look? Thanks again for any pointers

They are driveable on the bump stops just wouldn't want to do it anymore than you have to.

I believe the springs are a bit different than the D2 unfortunately.

Love me some barn finds. I would want more photos of engine bay, undercarriage, interior before deciding.

Do you guys think I could drive it onto a car trailer with it on the bumpstops? After talking to the salesman I’ve decided to take the day off work and head up there today.

yup shouldn't be a problem, take some wood like 2x4 to use to raise it up if you need so it doesn't drag on the ramps

20.00 in air fittings and she’s back off the ground! 😁
After testing her prowes out in the snow, I was amazed at how well the traction control works. I can’t wait to get it saftied and on the road
