Should I ???
I'm now in the market for a "newer" SUV with a GVWR over 6,000 lbs. (income tax purposes require I buy something over that in order to deduct up to $25k this year!!).
I've looked at the Touareg (junk), the M series Merc (junk), XC90 (ugly!!!!!) and wouldn't buy an american piece of iron if you paid me. That leaves me with very little choices....the RR. I had a Freelander (or the wife did) and thought what an awful vehicle. But reading the reviews of the RR from 2003 onward I'm impressed with what I hear. So I would like to ask all on this forum...would you buy another? What problems have you encountered?? Would you advise someone in your family to buy one or only your worse friend?
Thank you for any and all input!!! I have about 1 month to make up my mind.

RE: Should I ???
Wow, with my quest for input on this I thought I'd get a flurry of responses but only 1???!!!!!
I'm off to look at a 2002 RR HSE with the Borrego options. Priced around $25k. I was hoping to find something with the 4.4 in lieu of the dinasour 4.6 engine, but this is a fairly clean looking and right priced car. Should I hold out for a 4.4??
Any other issues/problems with these vehicles I should be wary of before I head off....????

RE: Should I ???
I would go for the 4.6 engine more power and a few things with the P38 range rover is the EAS electric air suspension may give problems later on down in the years but to overcome this just swap in coils and they like 91 gas but 89 or lower is ok just don't make a habit of it i don't know alot about range rovers but there are many on here who will help ya I'm glad I was able to tell you something. RR rules.[sm=icon_rock.gif]
